About this video

Amazon Ads Sponsored Brands & Sponsored Display Headlines in every possible language - In this video, we explore how to use a custom GPT within ChatGPT to create Amazon-compliant Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display ad headlines in any language. This is especially useful for Amazon sellers and advertisers aiming to scale their international campaigns efficiently. You’ll see how a properly configured custom GPT can generate headline variations that are compliant, natural-sounding, and tailored to specific audiences and products.

The walkthrough begins with a demonstration of the GPT’s interface and output. With just a few inputs—such as product information, target audience, and preferred language—you can receive multiple headline options ready for use in your Amazon advertising campaigns. Whether you're selling wooden pencils for students or managing a product line in another niche, this custom GPT allows for flexible language output while adhering to Amazon’s ad guidelines.

The video then dives into the setup process. You’ll learn what elements make up an effective GPT, including giving the AI a defined role (e.g., “You are the best marketing expert”), setting strict rules about punctuation, and avoiding special characters. The GPT is instructed to write like a native speaker rather than just translating text, which ensures the ads resonate better with regional audiences. This level of customization improves CTR and helps maintain Amazon ad compliance.

Even though OpenAI restricts direct sharing of the custom GPT due to trademark concerns, we shared a workaround: using a custom prompt provided in the video description and first comment. You’ll see how to paste this prompt into your own GPT to recreate the same results.

Video also shows how to enhance the GPT’s performance by uploading supporting documents like product PDFs. Additionally, you can tweak the number of generated examples and include translations in your preferred language. This is particularly beneficial for advertisers managing multilingual campaigns.

The GPT is designed not to rely on internet browsing but instead on the input you provide. This ensures more secure and consistent results, especially useful for Amazon advertisers who want to maintain strict brand messaging and accuracy. You'll see how the setup costs around $20/month, a small investment considering the time saved and the improved quality of ad creatives.

If you’re running Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display ads on Amazon and struggle with crafting engaging headlines that are both native and compliant, this video shows how to build a scalable, multilingual workflow using GPT technology.

Hi guys and welcome to another video on Amazonia YouTube channel. In this video I will talk about custom PTS and how you can use OpenAI chat GPT to write headlines for sponsor brands and sponsor display ads in any language. So stay with me. So this is how it will look once you finish setting up your own custom GPT. So it's meant for any occasion where you have your sponsor brands sponsor display headlines. You can even use it for Facebook or any other platform to write headlines in any language. I will show you first the output so you can know what to expect. The only thing that you have to select is the language that you want your headlines to be written in. Now, I've added some of the most used ones for my use case, but you can add any of that or you don't even need to add this. This is like a how do they call it? conversation started but you don't really need need that you can just say give me headlines in Arabic and you need to provide some information about the brand and about the product you can include brand name or you don't need to but the more information about the product or a line of products then the better the output's going to be let's say the brand name is called Brando So, and they sell pencils, wooden pencils for example. Let's see. Okay, for more context, uh this custom GPT is asking just um additional context that they can so it can produce better output. So, let's say the products are for the students and professionals. They are echofriendly. There you go. Perfect. Arabic Amazon compliant headlines. Now you can go ahead and check the actual headline with your preferred translation service and trust me it's going to be perfect because I've tried this numerous times. For example, now you can just use the same input and say for example if you now created your headlines for Arabic then say do the same for Japanese. There you go. Another 10 in Swedish. There you go. So, you get the point. Now, I would gladly share this GPT with you, but OpenAI is not letting me share it because of some so-called branding and trademark issues because it's about brand related stuff. But what I will share is custom prompt in the description and in the first comment. And I'm going to show you how that usually works. Let's go and edit the GPT so you can do that for yourself. Yeah, you need paid subscription for this. It's around €20, $20 per month. I think that's not much compared to what you get as an output. Every custom GPT has a name and ideally some kind of a uh description and the most important is the instruction set. Let's expand this a little bit now. So this GPT should write Amazon ads headlines no longer than 50 characters. This is important. You will act as best marketing expert ever. Let's add that one. Uh believe it or not, this really makes makes a difference for any customer that you use or even the the other AI models. So it's really important to give AI a role how to act and then so additional explanation from me that headlines need to be written as a native speaker not as a translation that's really crucial then all the rest this is just I copied guidelines from Amazon what to avoid what to do what not to do so there uh by by doing that you actually get a compliant headlines I added not to add extra pun punctuation or special characters. And I added always provide 10 different examples. If you like, you can rewrite that and say always provide 50 different examples or thousand whatever you like. Always include English translation for each headline because my second language is English. So that's why I add English as a as a translation for each headline. You can input your own language over here. And then these are as mentioned conversation starters which you can add but they are not really crucial. Additionally, you can upload files such as PDFs or whatever you have that can help these custom GPT write even better headlines if that's the case. And you can select if it uh will have um additional functionalities like do you want it to go online search the web for each headline that that you want it to be written or just use existing knowledge. For this occasion, I've excluded all of these options because I just want GPT to to use the inputs that I provided. Now, when you finish that, so you you copy these instructions that I'm sharing below, copy that to your custom GPT, hit publish, and then after each change, you will have an option to update. I encourage you to to try to share it. But when I whenever I try to share it to the GPT store or anyone with the link, I got an information that it take some time for it to be approved and I should check check it in later. But I waited for 5 days and nothing happened. So this I found this to be the only way that you can publish it and then you can be free to create absolutely astonishing headlines for your Amazon ads. Thank you for watching. Please let me know if you have anything that is unclear and I'll be glad to provide further explanation. Enjoy your day and see you in the next video.

Frequently asked questions

What is a custom GPT and why is it more effective than a standard ChatGPT prompt for writing Amazon ad headlines?

A custom GPT is a personalized version of ChatGPT that you configure once with a fixed set of instructions, rules, and constraints that apply automatically to every conversation. Unlike a standard prompt that you have to re-enter or copy each time, a custom GPT retains its instructions permanently, meaning you only need to provide the product details and language when you want headlines generated. For Amazon ad headlines, this means you can embed Amazon's policy restrictions, the 50-character limit, the native-speaker writing requirement, and formatting rules directly into the GPT's setup so they apply every time without you having to repeat them. The result is consistent, policy-compliant output across multiple languages and products without rebuilding the prompt from scratch each session.

What instructions should be included when setting up a custom GPT for Amazon Sponsored Brands headlines?

The instruction set should include: a defined role telling the AI to act as an expert marketer rather than a translator, the 50-character maximum length requirement, a directive to write as a native speaker of the target language rather than producing a translated version of an English headline, Amazon's ad headline policy rules covering prohibited content such as superlative claims, pricing references, and excessive punctuation, a requirement to always include an English translation alongside each generated headline for verification, and a specification for how many variations to produce per request, such as 10 or more. Giving the AI a clear expert role in the instructions, such as "you are the best marketing expert," has a measurable effect on output quality and is worth including even though it seems informal.

How do you add product-specific context to a custom GPT for better headline quality?

The custom GPT setup allows you to upload files such as PDFs containing product specifications, brand guidelines, or existing marketing materials. These files become part of the GPT's knowledge base for that specific configuration, allowing it to draw on product details without you having to re-enter them in each conversation. For sellers with multiple products, uploading a product brief or feature summary as a PDF produces noticeably more relevant and specific headline output compared to providing the same information as typed text in the chat. For the actual headline generation requests, providing at minimum the brand name, the target audience, and two or three core product features gives the GPT enough context to produce options that reflect the product accurately rather than generating generic copy.

What does it cost to use a custom GPT for Amazon ad headline generation, and what is the practical workflow?

Building and using a custom GPT requires a paid ChatGPT subscription, which costs approximately 20 dollars per month. Once the GPT is configured with the instruction set and any uploaded product documents, the workflow for each session is straightforward: open the custom GPT, specify the target language, provide the product name and a few lines of context, and receive 10 or more compliant headline options within seconds. Switching languages requires only changing the language input while keeping all other product context the same, which makes generating headlines across multiple European or Asian marketplaces fast. Each set of generated headlines should be cross-checked using a reliable translation tool before going live, both to verify accuracy and to catch any subtle grammatical issues that would not be apparent to someone who does not speak the language natively.
